How to Search for an Address in a PDF

The following instructions will guide you on how to use the Ctrl + F feature to search for an address in a PDF document. Instructions are available in both English and Spanish.

Steps to Use Ctrl + F

1. Open the Application
   • Open the application or document where you want to search (e.g., a web browser, Word, Excel, PDF reader, or text editor).
2. Press Ctrl + F
   • Hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard.
   • While holding Ctrl, press the F key.
3. Enter Your Search Query
   • A search bar or box will appear (usually at the top, bottom, or side of the window).
   • Type the word, phrase, or address you're looking for.
4. View Results
   • The application will highlight matches in the document or on the page.
   • Use navigation buttons (e.g., arrows) in the search bar to move between matches.
5. Adjust or Close
   • Edit your search term if needed.
   • Close the search bar by clicking the X or pressing the Esc key.

City of Angleton to Conduct Service Line Inventory

The City of Angleton is conducting an EPA required service line inventory survey and we are asking for the public’s help to get needed information from our homeowners and business owners. A survey has been mailed out to each Angleton water customer.

The survey only needs to be completed once per household. This is for both renters and homeowners.
