Juveniles
Crimes
State law defines juveniles as those persons who are at least 10 years old but under 17 years old charged with criminal offenses. More serious infractions by juveniles are handled confidentially, rather than in open court. However, this practice may be waived by the juvenile upon request. Parents or legal guardians of juveniles who are defendants in the Angleton Municipal Court are required to be present during all proceedings with the juvenile.
Juvenile Court
Juvenile court is held once a month with the pre-hearing and show cause dockets. Please contact the court for dates.
