ADA SELF-EVALUATION AND TRANSITION PLAN
PUBLIC NOTICE
TOWN HALL MEETING
The City of Angleton will be hosting a Town Hall Meeting on Monday, August 29, 2022. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the draft of the first phase of the ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition plan. Under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the City of Angleton is required to complete a self-evaluation and transition plan for its programs, services, and facilities to identify barriers and improve accessibility. The project will include, but not be limited to, a review of City facilities and associated parking lots, parks and associated parking lots, signalized intersections, existing sidewalks and associated curb ramps, design and construction standards, documented public concerns, sponsored boards and commissions, programs, procedures, and policies.

If you’ve never visited Angleton City Hall, the meeting will be held at City Hall Council Chambers, 120 Chenango, Angleton, TX 77515. We have accessible parking at the entrance of 120 S Chenango and 121 S Velasco. Public participants are asked to enter the accessible entrance at 120 S Chenango. Once you enter into the foyer, you will enter a set of double doors which will take you into City Hall Council Chambers. Restrooms are located in the foyer.
