The General Election is scheduled for May 7, 2022, for the purpose of electing officers to the following positions:
City Council Position 1
City Council Position 3
City Council Position 5
All positions on the City Council are at-large and can be held by any qualified candidate. Each member elected will serve a two-year term from May 2022 to May 2024.
Applications will be accepted at City Hall, 121 S. Velasco St., starting Wednesday, January 19, 2022, through Friday, February 18, 2022, by 5:00 p.m. There is no filing fee.
