Message from TNMP: GULF COAST – THURSDAY: Crews continue to make progress restoring power after Nicholas. More than 60 percent of affected customers have been restored, but work is *not* slowing down. With that, we’ve been able to re-assess and revise our restoration estimates. DEBRIS REMOVAL

The City of Angleton has contracted with a company for the removal of debris from Hurricane Nicholas. In efforts to expedite the debris removal process, please help with the following: Seperate brush from construction debris I.E. shingles and fencing. Move debris to curb without blocking the roadway, fire hydrants and mailboxes. Debris should be placed on the ground not on a structure or under a tree. Additionally, Waste Connections will run regularly scheduled routes for trash and bulk pick up. Debris removal will begin on Thursday, September 23rd.  All debris should be curbside by Monday, September 27. Thank you
