On Monday, February 3, 2020, The City Council of The City of Angleton unanimously accepted the resignation of City Manager Scott Albert.
Megan Mainer, Director of Parks and Recreation, has been named Temporary City Manager until an Interim City Manager can be appointed and then a search conducted and a new City Manager is named. The important work of the City continues and Council has full confidence in staff to carry on under the leadership of Megan Mainer.
