Dear customers and friends, welcome to Angleton’s Virtual Park & Recreation Center! As of Monday, May 18, 2020 the Angleton Recreation Center has opened its doors to the public. Please visit our Angleton Parks and Recreation Facebook page for procedures and policies that are in place. Playground equipment, pavilions and public restrooms are open. Parks are cleaned and sanitized on a routinely basis.

Our Parks & Recreation Department is committed to provide you with ways to help you and your family stay active and entertained. Virtual Senior Program

Tune into Facebook Angleton Parks & Recreation for Live streaming videos Monday-Thursday each week.

  • Mondays - Chair Fitness begins at 11:00AM with our instructor Mary. All you need is a sturdy chair to use.
  • Tuesdays - Craft Classes with Recreation Specialist Pat beginning at 11:00AM. Supplies needed for the week’s craft project will be posted prior to going live or you can watch the video later and let us know in the comment section of the video how your craft turned out!
  • Wednesdays - Bingo for the month is being streamed through Zoom beginning at 12:30PM. The meeting ID is shared on our Facebook page each week. You can pick up a bingo card from the Recreation Center or you can print your own at home. Prizes are available for all winners - we have kid prizes too!
  • Thursdays - Cooking classes with Recreation Specialist Pat beginning at 11:00AM. Supplies needed for the week’s cooking class will be posted prior to going live or you can watch the video later and let us know in the comment section of the video how your food turned out! Cooking classes are meant to use as little ingredients as possible and are made to make in the microwave or less.
