Hip Hop Kids Zumba

Zumba Kids features the famous Zumba Fitness music, rhythms, and beats along with Zumba choreography broken into kid-friendly routines. Giving children an outlet to jump, dance, shake and swing their hips, it’s the perfect recipe for fitness fun! Zumba Kids also adds age-appropriate games and activities, helping children gain coordination, self-confidence, overcome fears, learn about teamwork, and much more. Each class will have a specific superhero theme, DC League vs Marvel League!

Start Smart Basketball

Mini athletes will learn the basics of the game of basketball once a week over a six-week period. Parent or guardian participation is required.

Virtual Critter Camp COA

Camp in a Box - Virtual Critter Camp

This virtual camp program is designed to give children a fun and positive experience with animals and teach them the responsibilities that go with owning a pet. Topics covered include: informing kids about ways they can help their shelter, instruction about the animals in our environment, and everything in between! These boxes are everything you need to host a 3-day camp at home. Inside the box, you will find instruction and all the material you need for the crafts, games, and activities. We will also be posting corresponding videos on our City of Angleton Parks and Recreation Facebook page.

RecConnect

Welcome to RecConnect, a new after school care program at the ARC! The RecConnect after school program is designed as an academic enhancement program that supports the regular education day with enrichment activities and a healthy snack. RecConnect provides a safe and structured environment for students after school on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. We will have designated homework time, as well as structured play and socialization. Masks are required for children over 10 years of age. Participants must have all paperwork submitted by the Thursday of the week before they plan to attend.
