History & Structure
The Angleton Police Department
was formed in 1953. At the time it was formed, the Police Department consisted of the Chief of Police and 2 patrolmen. The Police Department now has 37 sworn officers and 13 civilian personnel serving a population of nearly 20,000 residents.

Note that Morse code is no longer required for any class Amateur Radio License in the USA.  A one day study session/exam will be offered on Saturday, January 30, 2016.  The class will be held at Alvin Community College in Room S-203 in Science Building in Alvin, TX.  Course fee is $25.00 (cash) which includes $15.00 for the first exam.  All materials are provided and there is no preparation required.

Request An Accident Report

On June 18, 2015, in an effort to decrease harassment of crash victims and their families, HB2633 was passed.

As required by HB2633 and the Texas Transportation Code 550.065, the Angleton Police Department has implemented the following changes:
Persons who are requesting an accident report must complete this

If you were given a report number by the officer, please include that information in the request. Reports will be sent as a PDF file at no charge.
